		<description>The thing is, if you think about it, an operating system is to ultimate behavioral targeting system. It knows you probably more intimately than your spouse. Allowing advertisers to have access to it (yes in a non-PII way blah blah) is just plain creepy. Also, if that will roll out, it could trump all other ads - are you willing to get the OS for free, in exchange to which, the OS will replace all the ads you see on the right side of your SERPs with the OS&#039;s choices? &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Two things I can&#039;t understand:&lt;br&gt;1. Most of Jobs&#039;s margins come from selling the hardware at a premium, so why be bothered with the cost of the OS? Have you ever met a mac user who paid for his OS?&lt;br&gt;2. Why the hell does the PTO give a patent for something so trivial? I&#039;m sure there are priors from here till the .bust.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Thanks for pointing to the patent.
