Anyone can start a blog. - Musicians have to go on the road and perform, bloggers can blog in their underwear from home. - It takes years of practice to be a musician, anyone can start blogging in 5 minutes. - There's money to be made in music. Very little to be made in blogging. There is no 20/80 rule in blogging. Nowhere near 20% of bloggers make money. I understand your analogy, but there are some big differences to note.
