Oh yes, content is increasingly portable and now we all want it whenever. Can you imagine there was actually a time when - gasp - you could only watch on TV what the Big 3, maybe Big 5 nets if you were in a major market, showed - only when they decided it would air.

I'm obviously not a disinterested party in this, but we'd love to get some feedback from you and your readers on Fancast.com. It was developed by Comcast Interactive Media (CIM) it is designed to make entertainment consumption amazingly simple by helping consumers - you - find whatever content you're looking for WHEREVER it is across multiple platforms.

The site builds upon Comcast’s position as the nation’s largest provider of residential broadband, the largest purchaser of content in the United States, and experience connecting over 24 million video customers to multiplatform content.

Basically it is a great resource that allows anyone who goes to it - and no, you do NOT have to be a Comcast subscriber - to watch, manage and find entertainment content wherever it is available...on Fancast itself (you can watch full length episodes or clips of movies/TV shows), or airing on television (you can find what channel and time), online, on DVD (Netflix, Amazon, itunes, etc.) or in theaters (fandango).

Fancast users can view an amazing library of free full episodes and clips from top networks and movie partners (check out the list of TV shows http://www.fancast.com/full_episodes

or movies http://www.fancast.com/movies

eg. "Monty Python's Meaning of Life" and "Fever Pitch" with Drew Barrymore & Jimmy Fallon, to give you an idea of the variety available.

Please let us know what you think of Fancast. We would LOVE to hear any thoughts.
Cheers,
Jim (for Fancast).
