I once delivered a paper entitled "The Broadband Campfire" at X|Media|Lab 2004 which is now the subject of a manuscript. Everyone thought I was mad at the time for likening UGC to the habits of ancestral cave drawings! But I see here campfire theory has taken on a life all of its own. May it burn ever so brightly.
