New Business Idea: Collaborative Book Writing
I’ve been thinking about this business idea ever since I started getting serious about my own book and know that I do not have the bandwidth to make this happen at this time.
I’d love to see a platform emerge (online) that unites different authors together. I believe group books are interesting and creating a simple matchmaking system for authors could be extremely simple and beneficial.
This could play out one of many ways, but here are some examples:
- A master author can create the topic and overview for a specific book and different authors can apply to write different chapters. The platform takes care of the logistics of making this happen.
- Many different people can write chapters of random books and throughout this platform, they are melded together adn into a book. Imagine taking the millions of chapters that have been written and creating different books out of them?
Just a few thoughts (starters) but I’m convinced it’s needed. Would be great to create a platform that unites authors with editors as well…
