Want to Meet in Los Angeles this week?
Tomorrow morning, I’m flying to Los Angeles to be on a panel at the iHollywood Digital Media Summit. If you are in the Los Angeles area and would like to grab a coffee, do let me know as I’ll be in town until Thursday morning. You can contact me here.
I’m excited about my panel as community is playing a huge role within not just Web 2.0 but in gaming as well…:
Community is increasingly essential to gaming: X-Box Live users talk to each other in near real-time; children use online game Runescape as much to chat as to play; the Nintendo Wii’s raison d’etre is bringing family members together with an easy-to-use interface; and the first mobile games built around interaction with others are beginning to catch on. A look at games, community, and how it can be monetized.
